Death is No Small Change!
by Kurt Kleinmann

A brand new World Premiere production presented in Living Black & White

The Story – This comedy murder-mystery takes place in November of 1936 and is a light-hearted spoof of black & white films of the 1930’s and 1940’s. The action takes place on the private island which is home to the Yarazelski Brain Institute. A string of murders has been committed, casting suspicion on the doctors of the Institute. Could one of them be guilty? Or did the butler actually do it this time? Harry Hunsacker, would-be actor turned would-be detective, and Nigel Grouse, his paid-by-the-hour assistant, along with Lt. Foster of the real police have less than two hours before the killer will strike again! Don’t miss this spectacular recreation of the golden age of black & white films—presented onstage In Living Black & White!™

Read what the critics are saying:

There's nothing like a Pegasus show and until you've seen one, it's
hard to believe they can do what they do in the way that they do it.
Elaine Liner,
Dallas Observer

At times, you really felt like you were watching an old black and white movie.
Kristopher A. Harrison of John Garcia's
The Column

Kurt Kleinmann's latest Harry Hunsacker mystery has another
delightfully eccentric set of characters on the scene - and of course
the investigative antics are even more fun to watch in Pegasus
Theatre's black and white production style wherein lighting, set,
costumes, makeup and sound mimic the look and dramatic feel of
detective films from the 30s.
Martha Heimberg,
Turtle Creek News

The latest in Pegasus Theatre's celebrated “black and white mysteries” is the anticipated good time...the plays are truly inspired.
