History Pegasus Theatre is a small professional theatre located in Dallas, Texas. It was founded in October of 1985 in a converted warehouse and was part of the "first wave" of artisitic renaissance that has occurred in Deep Ellum in recent years. Over the ensuing years, Pegasus Theatre has matured artistically. But it has remained true to the original purpose for which it was founded: to focus on comedy, especially original works by promising playwrights. |
